Field Day Photos Thanks Mr. Gaffney, we had a great time on field day! Princess Sammy Seek and Find Princess Sammy is a hamster in Mrs. Karcz’s third grade classroom. Sammy’s disappearance one night inspired the students to write and illustrate stories about her adventures. Sammy was eventually found, but then vanished again for another journey. She is safely back home again now, but has inspired a school wide seek and find. E... Career Day Cayuga students were treated to an exciting career day this year. Mrs. Morgan from Morgan’s Farm came to talk about farming. Chef Harold from Lewis’ Restaurant made French toast for the students while Mrs. Brandstetter talked about running a restaurant. Dentist, Dr. Davidson and his staff talked to the students about proper care... Highlights from the Walk-A-Thon The PTO walk-a-thon was a huge success! Thank you for supporting our students. May Students of the Month Congratulations to the students of the month for May! May's character trait was self-reliance. Children who exhibited this trait were honored by attending an ice cream party with Mrs. LaDouce and Mrs. Murphy. We are so proud of our self-reliant students! Dairy Princess Visits Cayuga Cayuga County Dairy Princess, Carrie Buck, visited with Cayuga Elementary second graders. Carrie helped the students to make the connection between agricultural production and the daily consumption of food and fiber products.
