K-12 Literacy Event Reading for the fun of it!

On Friday, March 19th, 2010, students and staff in grades K-12 will come together at the MS/HS for a reading exchange.  Older students will be paired up with younger students and each will read to one another.  All students are encouraged to bring their favorite picture book, chapter book or poem (may be an original work) to read on this day.  It is also PURPLE & WHITE day so show off your school spirit by wearing our district's colors!  The following grades will be paired up for the day:

Grades K-3 & 7-9

Grades 4-6 & 10-12

Reminders: All students will arrive and depart from the MS/HS.  Students will be assigned to a specific classroom and will be told where to report on this day.  Students are encouraged to label their books from home in case they are misplaced.
