United States History and Government is a one year course that culminates with a Regents Exam. The course

provides a comprehensive overview of United States history

from early colonialism through the present day.  This course also covers areas of United States government including the Constitution, Supreme Court Cases and US Government institutions.

Students will read, write and research extensively during

the year in preparation for the United States History and Government Regents Exam. Students are expected

to pass the United States History and Government exam in

order to graduate.
